The Power of Positive - A web-based positive thought habit builder. The game pings the player a few times a day and challenges them to list out as many positive things as they can think of. They get badges for maintaining the number of items or growing the number, for new items, for consistently responding to the first text quickly, and more. How can games make us happier?

During a training session with TechTalk I talked a lot about how I believe that games, technology and even Facebook might be training us in the habits of happiness. When I say “habits of happiness” I’m referring to the general idea that we are what we think, and that happiness stems from the habit of thinking happy thoughts and doing positive things for ourselves and others.

From all of this 30x30 was born. The idea is that I’ll be creating a game a day with 30 minutes over 30 days. I’ll game-sketch my ideas a few times a week and post them here for you all to see. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas and feedback. I don’t know where this will lead, but I think I’m going to thoroughly enjoy the journey, I hope you do too!
